Organizational Project Manager - Financial Services

For a leading Italian Financial Services organization, we are looking for a:

Organizational Project Manager

The successful candidate will join a rapidly evolving environment, contributing to the delivery of strategic programs and transformation initiatives with broad impact across business operations, organizational models, processes, services, and systems.

We are seeking a senior professional with a solid track record in managing complex projects and a strong ability to translate strategic direction into operational execution, working hands-on across processes, organizational structures, and business operating models.

Key Responsibilities

The role will act as Senior Project Manager / PMO on strategic and innovation-driven initiatives supporting the evolution of the business and service model, with responsibilities including:

  • leading the setup and governance of complex projects, defining objectives, stakeholders, scope, workplans, governance frameworks, and operating models
  • coordinating all project phases, monitoring progress, milestones, risks, dependencies, and delivery timelines
  • engaging with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels, ensuring alignment across business functions, project teams, and senior management
  • supporting the operational implementation of new business models, processes, and services
  • assessing organizational, operational, and financial impacts of transformation initiatives
  • developing quantitative analyses, business cases, and cost-benefit evaluations
  • contributing to the definition and evolution of organizational and operating models
  • supporting project budgeting activities and ongoing budget monitoring

Projects will be highly cross-functional in nature and may simultaneously involve processes, organizational structures, information systems, products, and services.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a pragmatic, execution-oriented professional capable of working deeply within project content and organizational dynamics, rather than focusing exclusively on methodology or governance oversight.The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to:

  • analyze business processes and operating models in depth
  • understand organizational and financial implications of transformation initiatives
  • identify practical and sustainable solutions
  • coordinate cross-functional contributions effectively
  • drive projects through execution to successful implementation

Strong interpersonal skills, stakeholder sensitivity, and a clear and effective communication style complete the profile.

Requirements

  • Approximately 15+ years of overall professional experience, including around 10 years in Project Management roles involving complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • solid experience in organizational transformation programs, process evolution, and operating model development
  • proven track record in managing projects with significant cross-functional impact
  • ability to develop business cases and financial evaluations
  • sound knowledge of project management methodologies and process analysis
  • professional proficiency in English
