Our client is a Leading Global Industrial Group, on its behalf we are looking for the

Group Finance and Treasury Director

Reporting to: Group CFO

Direct Reports:

• Treasury Manager
• Trade Finance Specialists

 Mission of the position:

• Accountable for achieving financial strategic goals within the Group
• Accountable for developing, implementing and managing effective and timely financial planning and other processes to support key decision makers
• Accountable for managing relations with investors, banks, brokers and insurers

Responsibilities and Activities:

• Management of the global team of Finance & Treasury personnel across the Group incl. definition of training plans, carrier paths, etc.
• Management of liquidity and payments
• Manage cash pooling for the main subsidiaries as well as intercompany loans
• Manage relationship with credit institutions, investors, brokers and credit insurers
• Lead budgeting & forecasting activities related to Finance & Treasury across the Group as well as ensuring adequate reporting to top management, shareholder and banks on group, company and project level
• Responsibility of ensuring Operative Treasury activities are done in good quality and on time in line with Group policies such as analysis and reconciliation of bank accounts, operational management of incoming and outgoing bank movements and their accounting, financial statement drawing up, analysis of exposures for derivative transactions
• Risk Management of foreign exchange and commodities through derivatives transactions trading
• Define & implement optimized hedging strategy for the group and centralize the activities in one location
• Lead process improvement as well as digitalization initiatives incl. updating guidelines
• Responsible for Bond Management
• Ensure and manage all communication activities with the financial community

Education:

• Degree in economics or similar
• Excellent English knowledge
• Very good computer skills, familiarity with treasury management software (eg. SAP, Kyriba, Bloomberg)
• Knowledge of Alteryx, Power BI is a plus
