Newco - By joining at this early stage, you will be the Head of Business Development and play a crucial role in the success of the company designing and executing the team’s sales and growth strategy. 

While other industries have made major leaps with the digital transformation, the banking and payments industry is facing a great challenge in staying relevant. Making a payment today is slow and expensive due to the set-up with a lot of processing and parties involved. In many cases, making a payment also comes with bad user experience. Our NewCo is on a mission to revolutionize the banking and payments industry, while making the banks highly relevant again, by introducing an electronic euro that will be emissioned by the banks.   

We are looking for a Senior Executive that will drive new business revenue in Italy sourcing opportunities across multiple types of clients, mainly banks and financial institutions. S/He will be one of the first persons on the ground, together with the Founder, with the target to fully establish the Company as the number one player on the Italian market. 

  • Experience in Fintech/start up business development, including business strategy definition and execution (go-to market, market entry), owning P&L and managing program metrics
  • Experience from large and complex B2B sales.
  • Expert in innovative solutions in the field of digital payments.
  • Great knowledge about banks when it comes to organizational structure as well as procedures.
  • Solid interest and understanding of the business opportunities in a changing banking and financial ecosystem
  • Managing the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation
  • Develop and execute sales strategies plans to increase sales volume and market share, expand product category visibility and exceed defined product and corporate objectives
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to translate long term business goals and strategies into short term initiatives and KPIs
