E-Commerce Manager

Job description

Our client is an Italian company with international activities in the consumer products business.Within its Marketing direction, we are looking for a new E-Commerce Manager.

Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, the e-commerce manager will have the following objectives and responsibilities:

  • He/she is responsible for the management of the company's brands and for the results of online sales.
  • He/she develops strategies for the launch of products in e-commerce
  • Assures the constant product offering, their visibility and their commercial success in the e-commerce channel.

The E-Commerce Manager:

  • Manages the commercial and operational development of the E-Commerce activity, coordinating the third party company to which are delegated the operational activities of the electronic platform management, the warehouse and the distribution logistics, in accordance with DM
  • Defines strategies, commercial objectives and communicates them to the distributor
  • Is responsible for business planning, content strategy, development, and tactical activities to be implemented on the web, coordinating internally on web marketing activities (including SEO, SEM) to be activated also in e-commerce.
  • Defines products, replacements, online sales campaigns, pricing, discounts and promotions
  • Competitor’s analyses and search for new business opportunities
  • Interfaces with the managers of the traditional distribution channels and keeps them updated on the initiatives undertaken on the web.
  • Maintains relations with partners and suppliers
  • Provides periodically reports to the management

Profile

  • At least 5 years’ experience
  • Degree in Economics or equivalent
  • Proven experience in managing online sales and e-commerce projects
  • Experience in a similar role in medium or large brand owner companies, possibly modernly organized, or from companies that manage e-commerce activities on behalf of brand owners companies.
  • Marketing skills and basic technological knowledge, that make him/her a valid interlocutor to web technicians
  • Excellent knowledge of English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: nice, open and positive but also personal solidity and excellent commercial vision and proactivity.
  • Flexible, smart, dynamic and personal values in line with those of the company.

Location: Lombardy

Compensation and grading will be proportionate with the selected candidate, based on his/her previous experience and salary level. We suppose it could be a Quadro level, with a fixed salary, as well as variable part and benefits.
