For a leading Italian industrial group undergoing significant growth and expansion through acquisitions, we are seeking an

ERP Application Specialist – Oracle JD Edwards

The successful candidate will join the Corporate IT organization and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the company’s application landscape, with a particular focus on Oracle JD Edwards and the Finance, Administration & Control domain.

The role combines both project-based initiatives and application lifecycle management activities, working closely with business stakeholders, technology partners, and external vendors within a complex industrial environment characterized by continuous transformation and integration challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide application management, enhancement, and functional support for Oracle JD Edwards
  • Analyze business processes and gather requirements from Finance, Administration, and Controlling functions
  • Support integration projects involving JD Edwards and other enterprise applications
  • Coordinate external vendors and technology partners across both project and enhancement initiatives
  • Deliver functional and technical support to Finance, Administration, and Control stakeholders
  • Contribute to digital transformation and continuous improvement programs
  • Support activities related to databases, interfaces, and application integrations
  • Assist in reporting solutions and Business Intelligence initiatives
  • Participate in cross-functional projects involving supply chain, operations, and manufacturing processes

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a proactive and business-oriented professional who combines strong application expertise with the ability to understand operational requirements and translate them into effective technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Hands-on experience with Oracle JD Edwards within a corporate environment or consulting organization
  • Solid understanding of Finance, Accounting, and Controlling processes
  • Familiarity with application integration initiatives and database/SQL environments
  • Experience supporting application projects and managing relationships with business stakeholders
  • Ability to interact effectively with both business users and technical teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • A collaborative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement

Experience within complex industrial or manufacturing environments is highly valued.Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to supply chain, logistics, or manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence and reporting solutions
  • Experience operating within organizations undergoing transformation, integration programs, or acquisition-driven growth
