Event Operations Manager

Mission

The position  will lead operational teams and oversee the execution of high-complexity projects.The organization delivers a large number of events and integrated projects each year, operating through multidisciplinary teams that combine commercial, project management, and operational delivery capabilities.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Event Operations team, a key function supporting the planning, coordination, and operational delivery of client projects.

Responsible for a range of critical activities that contribute to the successful execution of events, including:

  • participant registration management and event administration
  • event planning and operational coordination
  • budgeting support and administrative activities
  • participant management and registration oversight

The role involves coordinating both internal resources and external collaborators, ensuring effective workload allocation, managing peak operational periods, and maintaining high service quality standards across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the Event Operations team
  • Plan, prioritize, and allocate activities across multiple projects
  • Ensure delivery timelines, service standards, and operational procedures are consistently met
  • Manage periods of high operational intensity and address organizational challenges effectively
  • Work closely with Project Managers and Commercial teams to support successful project delivery
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and ways of working

Candidate Profile

  • 6–10 years of experience within the events, congress, or live communications industry
  • Proven experience in event operations, registration management, or event coordination activities
  • Demonstrated experience leading and coordinating operational teams
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Mature leadership style, with the ability to perform effectively in fast-paced and dynamic environments
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach
