Head of User Experience
Objectives:
The Head of User Experience will lead and oversee the evolution of the user experience across Client’s digital platforms, ensuring consistency, quality and scalability across all digital applications developed by the company.
The role operates in a phase of product consolidation and growth, which includes:
- crypto wallets designed for a broad and diversified user base
- tokenisation platforms developed for enterprise projects
- solutions in the field of digital assets and regulated financial services
The mission of the role is to translate the technological and regulatory complexity typical of the fintech sector into simple, intuitive and reliable user experiences, contributing concretely to Company’s competitiveness and positioning in the digital assets market.
The role is also expected to strengthen the UX function as a structured capability within product development processes, integrating it consistently into decision-making and product prioritisation dynamics.
Key Responsibilities:
UX Strategy Definition and Governance
- Define and drive the overall vision for the user experience in alignment with the product roadmap.
- Ensure consistency and coherence across mobile applications, web platforms and tokenisation platforms.
- Introduce and consolidate a user-centred approach based on research, testing and data analysis.
UX Team Leadership and Development
- Manage and develop the two UX resources reporting directly to the role, defining priorities, quality standards and operating practices.
- Foster the professional growth of the team and support the methodological evolution of the UX function.
Integration with Tech, Product and Compliance
- Collaborate with technology and product teams to translate complex requirements (e.g. KYC, AML, e-money regulations and other industry regulations) into clear and sustainable user flows.
- Contribute to product development decisions by ensuring the right balance between user experience, security and regulatory constraints.
Design System Evolution and Scalability
- Oversee and further develop a consistent and scalable design system capable of supporting the future growth of the platforms.
- Ensure visual and functional consistency across different product initiatives.
Product Performance Optimisation
- Monitor key KPIs related to engagement, retention and friction reduction in critical user journeys.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through testing and performance measurement.
Professional Skills:
- Proven experience in UX / Product Design, with increasing levels of responsibility over time.
- Experience designing mobile and web applications with a significant user base.
- Familiarity with fintech or financial services environments (digital wallets, payments, crypto-assets, tokenisation, regulated services).
- Experience managing UX/UI teams, even in relatively lean organisational structures.
- Ability to design and maintain scalable design systems.
- Data-driven mindset, with focus on performance measurement and optimisation.
- Degree in Design, Engineering, Digital Business/Economics or related disciplines.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken
