A leading multinational company operating in the Medical Equipment sector, characterized by a strong technology and software component and an evolving international commercial organization, is seeking a:
Regional Sales Manager
Reporting to Global Sales Leadership, the successful candidate will work closely with Country Managers, Area Managers, Product Specialists, and Corporate Headquarters.
Mission
Drive sustainable business growth across the assigned international region, ensuring effective market coverage and maximizing the performance of the company’s dealer and distributor network, a strategic pillar of its commercial model.
Key Responsibilities
Dealer & Distributor Network Management
Lead, develop, and evaluate the regional dealer and distributor network, promoting a structured governance model supported by clear performance metrics and reporting processes.
Manage commercial agreements and partnerships with distributors, dealers, and local business partners, while supporting channel development initiatives, commercial execution, training activities, and go-to-market strategies.
Team Leadership & Coordination
Coordinate Area Managers and Product Specialists operating within the region, ensuring operational alignment, effective communication, and consistent execution of commercial strategies in close collaboration with Headquarters.
Foster a high-performance culture by supporting team development, sharing best practices, and driving accountability across the organization.
Financial & Commercial Performance Management
Develop and manage regional budgets and forecasts, ensuring continuous monitoring of key commercial and financial indicators.
Track and analyze sales performance, margins, pricing strategies, business opportunities, and pipeline development to support sustainable growth and profitability.
Strategic Contribution & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a key market interface, providing structured feedback to support product development and portfolio evolution.
Collaborate closely with the Services organization and other corporate functions to strengthen the integration between equipment, software solutions, and value-added services, supporting the company’s long-term growth strategy.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience in international sales leadership roles within the Medical Equipment, Medical Device, or broader MedTech industry
- Strong track record in managing dealer and distributor networks across international markets
- Experience leading geographically dispersed commercial teams and cross-functional stakeholders
- Solid business acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management
- Strong negotiation skills, including dealer agreements, channel partnerships, and commercial contracts
- Experience managing indirect sales models and channel development strategies
- Strong analytical capabilities, including KPI monitoring, pipeline management, and CRM utilization
- Fluency in English; additional languages are considered an advantage depending on the geographical scope of responsibility
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis
