Business Controller

Job description

For a multinational global leader company, we are looking for the 

Business Controller

The role reports to the CFO and communicates with the business about financial data and operational data, having an impact on the Operational Development. He/she works close to the business and contributes to the business plan update and sets up the budget and forecast.

Role responsibilities:

• Reports and monitors the economic performance of the assigned Business Unit (BU) with a focus on operational parameters (KPIs), and adds value in the implementation of the analysis, guidance and coordination of projects and new processes in accordance with Group policies
• Controls and monitors business processes, budget, and budgeting
• Initiates improvement processes in Financial and Operational Management together with internal stakeholders and establish control and measurement of the implementation.
• Performs the CAPEX evaluation on projects
• Conducts commercial analysis and develop Financial Scenario Analysis
• Together with the CFO, evaluates the BU’s financial results by analysing reports
• Implements controls to ensure compliance with laws and regulations regarding financial reporting and disclosures

  Skills and requirements:

• Degree in Economics, Finance, Management Control, or related fields
• At least 7 years' experience in Management Control in multinational companies operating in industry or the business services sector
• Proven experience in a finance role with a strong track record of forecasting, planning, and budgeting
• Keen attention to details, able to reconcile data and inclined to double-check findings
• Excellent interpersonal skills for fruitful collaboration with internal customers
• Analytical, problem solving and stress management skills, confidentiality, punctuality
