Our customer is a leading, well established producer and distributor of specialty chemicals operating on diversified industrial markets.
On its behalf we are looking for a
Business Unit Manager Personal Care
managing the Italian and international cosmetic markets.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, the role includes the management of the P&L (revenues, margins) for all products sold in the Business Unit, the coordination of the activities throughout all regions maximizing synergies, optimizing common strategies and Business Lines Managers’ actions.
Accountability:
- Definition of the short and long strategical targets for the BU (market share, sales budget, margins)
- Achievement of the Budget Sales targets (revenues/margins) for the BU/Supplier assigned
- BU P/L responsibility
- New Principals scouting activities and product portfolio development (rationalization/expansion), aligned with the 3-years Strategic Development Plan
- Coordinate the actions Business Line Managers to set, monitor and achieve sales targets and stock rotation
- Management and activities coordination for Tier A/Top 15 Principals
- Managing and supervising PM activity
- MBO/KPI guidelines implementation within the sales structure
Skills:
- Strong leadership
- Excellent managerial skills
- Ability to manage heterogeneous markets (BL)
- Multi-country teams management
- Technical competencies preferred
Required profile:
- At least 15 years’ experience in B2B Personal Care sales organizations
- Degree preferably in chemistry, CTF, biology or equivalent
- Languages: Native Italian speaker, proficient use of English
