Global Procurement Manager - Recycling

Our Client is a leading post-consumer producer with plants in Europe. 

On its behalf we are looking for its Global Procurement Manager reporting directly to the CEO and managing a procurement team.  

Main Responsibilities: 

The Global Procurement Manager will be part of the group management team and s/he will be responsible for:

• Efficiency and cost-effectiveness purchasing of raw materials (bails, flakes, additives, masterbatches)

• Developing and harmonizing raw materials

• Continuous looking / developing new suppliers / materials

• Fostering the competitiveness through procurement excellence

• Is an active part of the (global) Recycling team.

Professional Background:

5-8 years’ experience in similar role in either plastic injection / extrusion / raw material industry preferably in international and dynamic context.

Personal skills:

• Hands on mentality. Seizing opportunities wherever arising

• Strong commercial skills

• Proven track record of successful contract negotiation

• Excellent listening and communication skills

• Decisive Result-driven with a passion “To give plastic a 2nd life to make the world a better place”

• Analytic approach

• International mobility

Education: 

Preferably Master’s degree (commercial, technical, economics).

Language: excellent command of Italian, German and English
