IT SAP Project & Demand Manager – Sales & Distribution and Logistics Areas - Manufacturing

Job description

Our client is an Italian multinational company in the manufacturing industry. On its behalf, we are looking for the IT Project & Demand Manager – Sales & Distribution and Logistics Areas.

The position reports directly to the Group Head of IT.

Mission:

  • Proactively promote process improvement and identify technology needs in the Sales & Distribution and Logistics business area according to the corporate governance of the Information Systems.

  • Working closely with their colleagues in the various functions mentioned above, analyzing business needs, developing solutions and guaranteeing the necessary support.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and understand the business needs for the Sales &  Distribution, Logistics and Supply Chain areas

  • Support internal and external technical resources in realizing the specifications required by the Business serving as a liaison between the business area and the Information System Department

  • Ensure the correct solution implementation and the resolution of the problems for the reference functional areas

  • Provide training and support to Users

Professional background:

At least 5 years of experience in similar role within the internal information System Department of Manufacturing International Companies or within consulting Firms and/or System Integrator.

Iit is request a good experience in analysis, implementation and management of SAP ERP for Sales & Distribution and Logistics areas. 

Competences:

  • Firm Knowledge in Sales & Distribution and Logistics processes for Manufacturing companies

  • Proficient Knowledge in SAP S4H – Sales & Distribution and WM Logistics will be essential. Supply Chain area is a plus

  • Knowledge of the basic principles of ERP systems and analysis tools

 

 Education/personal skill:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to be self-motivated, plan and estimate own work

  • Excellent customer engagement skills with various types and groups of people

  • Good team building skills including trust, professionalism, and be able to garner consensus across diverse groups

  • Ability to meet or exceed expectations and deadlines

  • Ability to multi-task under minimal supervision
