Our client is a Fintech start up, on its behalf we are looking for the Italy Country Head
Mission
Make growth the Italian market being responsible for the sales and the operation in Italy reporting directly to the International CEO.
Key responsibilities
Develop & lead the Company commercial activity in Italy:
-Sign eCommerce merchants to the Company consumer finance
-Develop partnerships with large eCommerce acquirors
Develop the business plan for the country:
-Sales projections
-Report to the International CEO on results versus budget
Recruit the required resources for the country office (to be developed):
-Local personnel (limited)
-Partners to outsource local activities (f. example recovery)
Provide Product Development feedback to evolve the product to country specific requirements
Be the legal representative of the country branch
Professional background
Consolidated experience in managing a sales & marketing team for an innovate e commerce marketplace operating preferably in the Financial Services. Track record of consistent goals achievement.
Education/personal skills
- Graduate in Economics or equivalent
- Proficiency in Italian and English is mandatory
- Relationship-building skills and strong leadership
- Entrepreneurship, start-up mind-set, hungry, business acumen and commercial awareness
- “self-starter“ who initiates new things, “hands-on approach“ with a strong approach to develop a business
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be comfortable working with diverse teams
- Analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills are an absolute prerequisite
- Used to work within a multinational context in complete indipendence being goal-oriented and achieving tangible results
