Business Unit Manager Italy - B2B
Job description
Our Client is the largest independent manufacturer of sealants, adhesives and polyurethane foam for professional and private use. For their Italian branch we are looking for the Business Unit Manager, reporting directly to the CEO - Italy, Spain, Portugal and France.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop the Company Market Share in Italy identifying and meeting potential clients to make company customer base be substantially expanded.
- Manage the sales force organization (Area Sales Managers as well as Agents) in selected markets/channels: Do It Yourself, Building & Construction, Marine, Industrial professional distributors.
- Establish and maintaining relationships with new and existing Accounts.
- Develop new market segments within trade, construction and industry.
- Develop and implement short, mid and long-term sales strategy for the selected segments.
- Achieve agreed sales and profit targets for allocated accounts and/or market segments.
- Achieve new business targets.
- Keep the Board informed of up to date account/channel and competitor developments.
- You will detect opportunities and translate them into a sales plan and approach.
- Inform Customers about new products by preparing presentations and sales displays.
- Define the future product-portfolio.
- Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives.
- Participate to international business meeting.
Professional experience
More than 10 years of experience in sales, preferably in building related materials or B2B environment.
Experience of managing P&L and Sales with shops/dealers with focus towards craftsman.
Qualifications
Master Degree in Sales, Business Administration/Management, Marketing or other business development related field.
Fluent English is a mandatory.
